FEB 01 2009: VERSION 1.1 RELEASED!

This update addresses bug fixes, and Implements Design Changes Based On Users Feedback. The following were implemented:

1- Game crash fixes:

We identified and fixed a few bugs, thanks to all the users feedback, that were causing crashes on iPhone/iPod touch. The game also saves itself more often so as to not lose any data in case of a crash.

Note however, that after several weeks of attempts we have given up hope to make the game fully compatible with jail broken phones. This is mainly due to memory issues. Jail broken phones allow background processes to run, which makes it very hard to predict how much memory is available for stitch'em words.

2- Bigger Hint Icons

Previously, the hint icon was way too small to make any sense out of it. You should now be able to see it more clearly.

3- 0.5 sec lag fix when selecting tiles

this lag was caused due to the fact that we were checking to see if there is a "double-Tap" on the icon to enlarge it, or a "single-Tap" to select it. however this was getting a little annoying as players would get confused if the icon was selected or not.

To fix this, we have changed the functionality of the zoom feature. To zoom in on an icon, the user must now hold it down for a few seconds.

4- No Hint Bonus fix

we should have named it correctly to begin with. The idea was that if you don't use any of the 3 hints available, you get 30 extra points, don't use 2, get 20 extra, and don't use 1 to get 10 extra points.

Starting 1.1 we have changed it so as to not give any bonus points if any of the hints were used at all.

5- Confirm boxes before using End Level

Some of you complained that you accidently hit "End Level" button. We now have a confirmation box.

6- Better letter icons

We have changed the Letters Icon to make them more readable.

JAN 26 2009: v2.0 - Major Upgrade Announcement (Target Third Week of FEB)

STITCH'EM WORDS Team is working very hard to bring you the very best Word Game available on the iPhone / iPod Touch.

In the month of February we will be adding several new features to our game:

1- Add a whopping total of 200 Levels!!

2- Level 1 - 4: Easy Levels, Level 5-25: Medium Easy, Level 26-75: Medium Levels, Level 76-125: Medium Hard, Level 126-200: Hard

3- Dynamic Level Loading - each level will be completely random Every Time.

4- Different Difficulty Levels:

- Beginner: Regular Game Play.

- Intermediate: Minimum Score to Pass Disable. (i.e. Player must solve all words).

- Master: Hide Word Structures; show a total number of words available for that level - Minimum Score to Pass Remains.

- Grandmaster: Hide Word Structures, shows a total number of word available for that level - Minimum Score to Pass Disable - Minus 10 points for Wrong Guess.

5- Add a Math Challenge Bonus Round: Given a set of numbers and a target, use arithmetic to come as close to target as possible.

For e.g. given the number set (1, 5, 10)...and a "Target Score"=49 ... solution will look like this [5*10]-1

6- Add Leaders Board: so you guys can see where do you rank.
